The quiz will be Monday for Honors and Tuesday for AVID. You may use your study guides during the test.

Drew Science Fair Information

The Drew Freeman Middle School Science Fair is fast approaching!  All students are required to complete the Science Fair packet on January 30th (Honors) and January 31st (AVID).

The final projects (display boards) are due Feb 11th Honors and Feb 12th AVID.

All students have received a Science Fair Packet already.  If you lose or cannot find your copy you are responsible for printing out a new copy. Remember: all students are required to complete this packet and turn it in on January 30th/31st.

Notebook Display Board Assignment DUE THURSDAY (honors) TUESDAY (avid)

Use your notes to make a mini-display board for Redi's experiment or Pasteur's experiment.  You do not need to buy a display or poster board for this assignment! Do this assignment on notebook paper or copy paper.

Include: Question, Hypothesis, Materials, Procedures, Data/Observations, Results and Conclusion

Science Fair Proposal Homework due Tuesday/Wednesday

Draft a proposal for your science fair project. Remember, your project must be based on a QUESTION that can be answered using the SCIENTIFIC METHOD. It must be an experiment, not a demonstration or a model.
